Abstract Kards

"Abstract Kards"
In class, we did a workshop with a Hungarian artist named Kamilla Sz íj. Szíj creates abstract pieces that are filled with lines and patterns which are drawn on small cards and traced on paper. In the workshop, we were given four small cards and we had the liberty to draw patterns which will ultimately create our final piece. After making these patterns, we traced our cards with thin paper and again had the liberty to change the sequence of the cards and also to overlap the patterns with different colors. It was a very interesting experience and it was enjoyable to learn a new way of creating an abstract piece.
